Training and proficiency in ORCHID FirstNet are expected and required before you can access the electronic health record (EHR) at Olive View-UCLA. FirstNet is the EHR environment used in the ED and Urgent Care. Four steps must be completed prior to obtaining ORCHID FirstNet access:
1) Watch Instructional Videos
2) Read the ORCHID Survival Guide for OVMC ED Providers
3) Take an Online certification exam
4) Submit the Training Attestation
In total ORCHID FirstNet Training should take approximately 90 minutes to complete.
